It is one of the Thousand Character Classic books found in the palace around 19th Century. It was copied down by Han Ho (1543-1605) on red, blue, yellow, rose, green and white papers. A thousand character classic was widely used for a study of Chinese letters during Joseon period. Among them, Han Ho’s 『Haeseocheonjamun』 became very popular after mid Joseon, since this book had Korean pronunciation and meaning written. This book here seems to be a later period manuscript with 『Haeseocheonjamun』 form. Colored papers attracted children’s attention.
