Poertzel was inspired by the Bauhaus to create this elegant Art Deco sculpture. The world of dance was the source of inspiration for these sculptors. Even the most modern proposals, such as the Triadic Ballet of the Bauhaus, served as a model to create these bronze and ivory sculptures. Poertzel's model is reminiscent of that avant-garde proposal, and more specifically of one of its members, Daisy Spies.
