This continues the depiction of crossing the Oi River. The last picture was of the Suruga Bank in Suruga Province, this illustration is of the opposite bank in Totomi Province. Both pictures make us think about how wide the Oi River was, and how difficult was its crossing. In the river we can see a jumbo palanquin supported by several dozen people, appropriate for members of a feudal procession.
