The tower

The primary school of Stornara, class II, with our student have chosen to adopt as a monument "The Tower" because it is considered as an important sign of the history of this territory, the only centuries-old memory of our roots in the feudal period.
This building has particular characters that can be found in almost all the farms of the modern age in Stornara. It was not built by the Jesuits, it certainly dates back to the times when the Municipalities(1442-47) were born. The Jesuits built only the dovecote. The tower was much higher than the current one, since it is confirmed by various iconographic testimonies According to the seventeenth century.
