The Town Hall on Dam Square, Amsterdam

The Amsterdam Town Hall (now the Royal Palace) on Dam Square counts as the most important historical and cultural monument of the Dutch Golden Age. The building symbolizes the tremendous growth and development that the city experienced during the 17th century.
