The Workshop

The Workshop(车间) is the artist’s graduation work. Although it depicts the ordinary working scene of forging steel, the composition is illusive and the color is melancholy color, rendering a bizarre effect. The painting might be a subversion comparing with most of the realistic paintings about labor work.
