Participants of the photography workshop captured one of the tradition, where the mixture of broken egg shells, mud and anemone flowers is placed above the door of Yazidi homes, providing the reidents with luck and fertility for the following next year. In the mixture there is the flower called Anemare which symbolizes the nature, the soil as there is forbidden for Yazidis to dig the ground in the month of April and broken egg shells, symbolizing the formation of the earth . Its also forbidden to get married in April.
