The artwork in the Crocetti’s museum in Rome is the final prototype of the official version that has been exposed around the world. Its symbolic value is absolutely strong and it has been celebrated by the highest museums’ authorities of that time. The sweet young boy riding an equally calm horse has been a model for the creation of “The Pilgrim of Assisi” by Norberto Proietti (2005).
