Through All Your Senses: A multisensory interaction with the art of Lee Ungno

Landscape in New Media: Lee Ungno’s landscape paintings, in which meaning and form are combined and abstracted, are here transformed into an interactive video installation. Borrowing from the source material of Lee’s various landscapes and animal paintings, this work examines the process through which Lee’s subjects are abstracted. The graphic fabrication of this process of disassembling and reassembling forms draws visitors into an unfamiliar experience of Lee’s art. It encourages them to engage in the process and add unexpected elements (their own figures) to produce unique individual images.
