The Sacro Cuore Artistic Lyceum, formerly the Istituto Statale d'Arte, has worked on the discovery of ceramics with institutions and universities (Italian, French and German) as part of the program funded by the European Community called "Culture 2000.
The didactic experience in the field then led, among other things, to the creation in our institute of the ceramic section.
Torre Alemanna is preparing to become the Ceramics Museum and, in 2013, it was one of the 700 artistic treasures open to the public during the XXVI FAI Spring Day (March 23rd and 24th).
Due to its historical and artistic characteristics, it is probably, together with the Chiesa Madre (Cathedral of S. Francesco), the most representative monument of the medieval period.
