The trains run on a complex infrastructure, made up of two iron rails, placed in parallel and fixed on railway sleepers, which are placed on a layer of Track ballast (stone).
Over the centuries, the railway was built and repaired manually, using a wide variety of tools and vehicles.
Those who travel by train are not always aware of the importance of conserving the lines to ensure safe circulation.
