The National Railway Museum, at Bragança is located downtown, in the building of the old railway station. The Museum contemplates the impact of this connection for the development of the region, its connection to the country and the world through a train. Locomotives, coach cars, wagons, workshop equipment and multiple objects tell the story of the construction and operation of the Linha do Tua, paying homage to the identity and memory of the community, whose experiences would be forever associated with the railway.
The CN1 Locomotive is waiting for you, one of the first to operate on the first stretch of the Linha do Tua, between this station and Mirandela.
