Chimerik is an audio-visual design collective formed in 2011. Named after the mythical creature “chimera”, the team inherits interdisciplinary characteristics and seeks to explore the subtle connection between art and technology by drawing on live generative visuals and cross-platform projects.
Chimerik’s works include interactive visuals, experiential installations, and improvised interdisciplinary art performances that combine audio, visual elements, and movement.
Its team members come from various disciplines including film and sound art, graphic and interactive design, web design and engineering. Through new media forms and practices, Chimerik focuses on creating a new, multi-sensorial interactive experience for the viewers.
Chimerik aims to expand its future research and interdisciplinary collaborations as ways to unravel a new realm within the interactive fusion of digital media and aesthetics.
