Trauma

This artwork documents the journey of psychological trauma experienced during Mosul’s occupation and the dehumanisation that Daesh brought to the city. The faceless dismembered skeleton of a figure stumbles helplessly and blindly across the canvas, with tears of pain streaming down the page as testament to the pain and despair that conflict brings.
