"Trenches of the Republic: mural newspaper of the 3rd Company "Solé"".

One of the main elements of ideological and cultural dissemination were the wall newspapers. These were to be displayed in the places where there were the most people, so they had to be specially made using thick brown paper (which withstood more severe handling than the simple paper of the posters), to which various news items were added, both military, political and cultural, and even sections with jokes and comic strips. The preparation was entrusted to the political commissary, to the members of the battalions with the capacity to do so and to anyone who wanted to contribute something interesting.
