Tulips from NV L.Stassen Autumn Bulb Catalogue

The cover of the 1952 autumn bulb catalogue from Stassen of Hillegom, Holland and Spalding in Lincolnshire. The catalogue belonged to Mrs Doreen Whitaker who lived in Little Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, where she transformed a field into a garden. Out-of-date catalogues were passed on to her daughter Diana, who would cut out flowers for her scrapbook - although this catalogue survived the scissors.
