King Umberto has always shown a deep bond with the Monza residence, surrounded by green and not far from the Villa Litta in Vedano al Lambro, home of the Duchess Eugenia Litta Bolognini known in a masked ball show organized by Prefecture of Milan.

In Monza city ends the King’s life, the regicide. It took place on July 1900, Sunday 29th during the gymnastic competition of the Monza club called “Forti e Liberi”.
