The piece recreates (based on a stereoscopic image) the panoramic view from what was going to be the Monumento al Descamisado (Monument to the Peronist Worker), at a height of 134 meters, where the eyes of the worker would have been. The images were made with a drone from the hypothetic point of view of this monument whose construction was interrupted in 1955. The stereoscopic visor stands on a structure made of finned iron and steel according to the information of the original blueprints for the construction of the monument and the sketches designed by the sculptor in charge, Leone Tomassi. The materiality of the piece takes us back to the construction work and the formworks that were built for the monument until its interruption. The piece intends to give existence to the monument, starting from the recreation of its view and a possible sight. It aims to grant visuality to the eyes of the Descamisado, and with it, the experience of the viewers. Thus, a performative synecdoche will be established: the sight for the monument.
