In 1998, I started working as an employee for the province of Buenos Aires at the Mar del Plata Central Casino. I began this job at the age of 18, and it allowed me to finance my visual arts and music studies and, to this day, my artistic projects. "Uniform No. 2" is part of an ongoing series where the different pieces emerge from my worn-out, no longer used uniforms that I have kept for 25 years (white shirts, black pants, vests, and bowties). With this artwork, I aim to explore the garments I regularly wear at work and transform them into unique poetic objects that speak of my personal history. I seek to address the artist's perspective beyond the routinary actions of a public employee and the diversity that lies under uniformity.
