Edward Dwurnik, one of the most characteristic Polish artists, created on a large scale, as if remixing himself. It is therefore not surprising that five portraits of Chopin were created in one series. The composer's profiles put together seem to be replicas of each other, although each of them is slightly different - it is a variant of an imaginary model. We can easily recognize Chopin here through the profile, collar and hairstyle preserved in the collective imagination. The circumstances of the works being created during the 200th birthday of the composer in 2010 are reminded of the overprint on the reverse sides of the drawings - the graphic of the then current wall calendar.
