III sec. d.C. The room is called Upper Vestibule, as it serves as an entrance to the upper level of the catacomb. This not only preserves the first Christian paintings in southern Italy, but on one side of the vault, there is a large skylight built between the 8th and 9th centuries, decorated with frescoes with the image of a Pantocrator Christ between angels and San Gennaro (second half of the 9th century).
