This Victorian Rowing Association medal was awarded to J Donald, stroke of the Victorian Champion Four, 9 December 1899 and member of the Alfred Park Rowing Club. The front depicts a piece of rowing paraphernalia on top of two crossed oars surrounded by a wreath. Around the outside is the inscription `Victorian Rowing Association estd 1876 in gothic script ‘. The reverse features a shield at the centre and the engraved inscription `a.P.R.C. J. Donald str’.
