View of Sereikiškės

In a drawing by the artist Józef Peszka (1767–1831), Sereikiškės is shown on the side of the Vilnelė, as seen from the garden of the Bernardine Monastery at that time, where the botanical garden of Vilnius University was being established in a new location, the first plot of which was chosen by Johann Georg Adam Forster (1754–1794), a naturalist who worked at Vilnius University.
