This carpeting fabric was designed for Morris & Co by either William Morris or Kate Faulkner. Kate Faulkner created a number of other designs for the firm including patterns for wallpapers and printed textiles. This 3-ply carpet was woven by the women at Heckmondwike Manufacturing Co. in Yorkshire in tones of red, ginger and cream.
