Virtudes garden of Virtudes VI.

Today, the remaining flora of the original Nursery Garden of the Virtudes is very diminished. The City Council of Porto acquired the Nursery Garden in 1965 and, after a period of neglect, transformed it into a Municipal Garden, which opened to the public in 1999. The old terraces were covered with grass, and new plants were introduced.
