VISHWAROOPA DARSHAN OR THE VIEW OF THE UNIVERSE: The naughty Krishna once ate mud and the Gopikas complained to Yashodha. Yashodha, in anger and to chastise Krishna, bound his hands and opened Krishna’s mouth. She was alarmed to see all the worlds in his mouth.

This print from the Ravi Udaya Press derived from a painting by Raja Ravi Varma depicts Krishna being punished with his hands tied. A fearful Balarama looks on. Yashodha is astonished at seeing the worlds in Krishna’s mouth.
