In the center of the composition the mill house under snow. Branching tree and vegetation covered with frost and snow on the left. Mostly white and blue tones that contribute to the impression of frost. In the sky brighter shade of blue are mixed with soft pink and yellow tones.

Mirko Horvat was born in 1955 in Zdala and started painting as a young man. His love of nature and painting he has inhereted from his father Josip Horvat, one of the first post-war naive painters in the Podravina region. His style has evolved under the influence of Mijo Kovacic.
