Work made during the strictest moment of the Mandatory and Preventive Social Isolation period with objects gathered from the street in the pre-pandemic period. These items became relics as we faced a in immediate future that was uncertain. During the lockdown, the outside world brought the possibility of infection -remember that the virus was supposed to stay on the surface of the objects- and the inside was the place of reordering and care, therefore, every gathered item was resignified as precious and valuable. How long would it take until I could gather those remainders from the street that would function as the raw materials of my work? The suit bag, suspended like time, works as a reliquary, that box where very valuable objects that remind us of something very important or special, are kept. A collective and portable reliquary, an inside, a shelter, the memory of this time that we must live.
