Work in progress of the Bhogibeel Bridge

The guide bunds or walls are a major constructions as in the case of the bridge under construction across the Brahmaputra, at Bhogibeel, near Dibrugarh, in Upper Assam. The bunds built on the North and South bank, when completed in 2018, will be the longest rail bridge in India with a length of 5.4 kms.
