The legendary "Green Elephant," the Zündapp KS 601, is very probably the best-known motorcycle ever produced in Nuremberg. The vehicle got its nickname, which has stuck permanently, from a test report in "Motorrad" magazine. It is thanks to the experienced motorcycle restorer Gustav Franke that after an extended and extensive restoration, as well as a partial reconstruction, it can once again be presented to the public in all its glory.
