Zofia and Marian Smardz, Rawicz, 25 May 1974. Zofia Smardz was to spend only three months in Lębork when, after graduating from the Linen School in Rawicz in 1971, she went to work for the Lębork Roszarnia. It was here that she settled down, where she met her future husband and where her relationship with the town continues to this day. Marian Smardz, on the other hand, was born in Lębork. His mother was the sister of Lębork's most famous baker, Franciszek Wenta.
