Municipal Public Library in Lębork

The Municipal Public Library in Lębork has been in existence since 1947. It operates in a nationwide library network and takes care of 11 libraries in Lębork County.

The mission of the institution is to arouse and satisfy the educational, cultural and information needs of the residents of the city and district, taking into account the optimum use of the collections. The library's resources consist of books, press, ebooks, audiobooks, board games and films. It also collects unique documents from the life of the local community after 1945.

The library organises many educational activities and cultural events, including historical and literary meetings, exhibitions, competitions and workshops. It publishes materials related to the history and present day of the town and region and promotes the culture of the past and present, diversity and dialogue. It is a modern place and open to all initiatives, making it an active participant in the socio-cultural life of the region.
