The second largest genus of Cetoniinae after the Goliath beetles. Although it does not have a huge body size of more than 100 mm like Goliathus goliatus, it can also be 70-90 mm long in general. The most attractive feature of the genus Mecynorhina is not their body shape, but various color and pattern. DIfferent subgenera have different colors and patterns. If being placed in the specimen box, they can absolutely become eye-catching.
