Time Travel Vehicle

Artist Li Cheng Liang is deeply influenced by sci-fi films, and so tries to create a spiritual time machine amidst the high streets of Xinyi commercial district.

This artwork is designed to resemble a machine that can dive into the deep sea, fly into space, and travel around the world, carrying a strange imaginary world. Visitors can look inside through the round colored windows and set foot indoors. Inside they will see a bridge-like wooden enclosure that allows continuous lines of sight and endless imagination. Visitors can listen to the whisper of the ambient music while watching the changing images projected around the cabin and let their own imagination roam free. Li Cheng Liang hopes to create a place of exploration where the changes of color, light and shadow and ambient sounds evoke memories and imagination.
