The year 2013 was one of the busiest and most productive years of WOOL with the expansion to new geographies, seeking to answer the growing and challenging requests made by companies, cultural associations, municipal or private entities.
In August 2013 we were at Cale Festival, a two day festival of street arts held at Rua da Cale, in the historical city center of Fundão.
For this first event of Street Art taking place here, we invited PANTÓNIO that freely chose three spaces for three murals under the watchful eyes of visitors and residents, stirring interest in this Art and for Contemporary Art and Culture, an underlying goal specially in these inland regions with limited access to cultural events/ activities.
In 2014, WOOL was once again invited to go to Cale Festival and this year we decided to invite NESPOON from Poland. She was in Fundão, in May, doing an artistic residency to prepare this intervention that was executed during CALE, in August.
