Piero Guccione Archive

The Piero Guccione Archive is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting and disseminating the image and work of the painter.

Founded in 2018 by the artist’s daughter, Paola Guccione, the Archive aims to recognize Piero Guccione as one of the leading figures of late-twentieth-century contemporary painting, in Italy and abroad.

Its mission is to explore and critically define the artist’s entire creative journey: from his Roman beginnings in the early 1960s to his full artistic maturity, marked by metaphysical seascapes, pastels imbued with a neo-Leopardian sense of boundlessness, and poetic d’après.

The Archive organizes, produces, and supports exhibitions, publications, and other cultural initiatives, working with institutions and scholars to promote and expand the knowledge and appreciation of Piero Guccione’s work.
