The Atelier-Museum Júlio Pomar preserves and promotes the work of Júlio Pomar (1926–2018) through temporary exhibitions, events, lectures, and educational activities. Located between Bairro Alto and Madragoa, two historic neighborhoods of Lisbon, the museum building was refurbished by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, winner of the 1992 Pritzker Prize.
As part of the museum’s mission to promote and disseminate Pomar’s work, this page brings together works from public and private collections. However, this does not mean that they necessarily form part of the Atelier-Museum’s collection or that they are currently on display.
