Universitas Budi Luhur

Universitas Budi Luhur is a private university located in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Universitas Budi Luhur was established in 1979 under the auspices of the Budi Luhur Cakti Foundation. Universitas Budi Luhur has five faculties, namely the Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Economics & Business, Faculty of Social Sciences & Global Studies, Faculty of Communication & Creative Design, and Faculty of Engineering.

The purpose of the university is to educate the life of the nation that based on the philosophy of being intelligence and noble. Being intelligence and noble means that the improvement of science and technology must be accompanied by the foundation of virtuous values that are abstractions from empirical experiences and the commitment of the founder. Virtuousness as the characteristic of the university is reflected in the attitude of patience of gratitude, love and affection, humility, love to help others, cooperation, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, empathy-sympathy, modesty, and respect for all living beings

The virtuous values are formally integrated in the educational curriculum and applied informally in campus life. Universitas Budi Luhur is welcome to do cooperation in the field of education and research with various parties at the national and international levels and organizes Nusantara Scholarships program for outstanding students throughout Indonesia. We are supporting for the implementation of education, research, and community service which is strengthened through various study centers to study and develop research themes based on the values of virtuousness, culture, environment, policy, communication, economics, technology, and art-culture-film appreciation.
