Mexico, Mexico

One day, in the 1900s, a tall, gangly, and good-natured man began his journey into the world of photojournalism. This incursion led by this intrepid man led to the creation of one of the most important visual collections of Mexico, ‘Archivos Casasola.’ Reporter, Agustín Víctor Casasola, was an entrepreneur who was passionate about rescuing and compiling the photographic archives that would serve as the foundation of the Archivo Casasola. In this mission, he involved his family, including his children, and this is how his firstborn, Gustavo Casasola Zapata found his vocation as a photographer and journalist, documenting the history of this country. Combining the power of the pen with stunning black and white images, he became a chronicler detailing the chaotic history of Mexico. Casasola México is a company that for over 50 years has offered services ranging from research and publishing to iconography and exhibitions.
