The Museu das Favelas is a facility of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of São Paulo, housed in the Campos Elíseos Palace, a listed building located in the center of the capital. Managed by the social organization of culture IDG - Instituto de Desenvolvimento e Gestão, the Museum, which is born from a collaborative process with people who live the daily life in the favelas, is an environment of research, preservation, production and communication of the memories and creative potential of Brazilian favelas. Open to all audiences, it offers a lively cultural and educational program, exhibitions, a Reference Center, a Library, and an Entrepreneurship Center, as well as a large living space in the garden.
