The simplicity of the sculptor is reflected in the choice of the most common threads from everyday life. Shaping generally remains robust, with distinguished the most important peasant "attributes" - hands and feet - which are the main prerequisite for survival in a harsh environment. The compositions are symmetrical and predominantly closed form figures dissolve into the supporting elements of the basic motif.
