StadtPalais - Museum for Stuttgart is more than a museum of municipal history.
Newly opened in April 2018, the house is as versatile as this city: questions about the future, architecture and urban issues are discussed here, and the program ranges from political debate to a Palais party. Children build their own city at the children's construction site. The permanent exhibition "Stuttgarter Stadtgeschichten" illuminates urban history from the end of the 18th century to the present from many perspectives. In the huge city model, the Stuttgart of the present becomes a multi-media experience.
The exhibition floors are on the 1st and 2nd floors. On the 1st floor, the permanent exhibition "Stuttgarter Stadtgeschichten" is presented on 900 m². The 500 m² area on the 2nd floor is available for special exhibitions. The "Kinderbaustelle" is located on the garden floor.
