At the heart of the project
Throughout the year, cultural and artistic mediation plays an important role in our programming and in the life of Le Spot and the Gambetta district.
Art workshops
The workshops with a therapeutic aim represent two spaces of free creation for inhabitants of the Gambetta-Richelieu district of all ages and all social origins, without any distinctions between them.
Participatory projects
The team of the Résidence Autonome Enclos Rey wanted to participate in the adventure of L'Expo de Ouf! 10 by offering us their façade. This particular piece of architecture touched the sensitivity of the Spanish artist Marìa Orovio and FOA, who accompanied her on this project.

María is used to working on projects of this magnitude and putting people at the heart of them. Throughout the project, we involved the inhabitants of the residence and the people from the neighborhood, to think, imagine and include their creativity.

Artist residencies
The cultural mediation here goes beyond just creating artistic workshops for the public in the neighborhoods. Recently, we have worked to create a real connection between the artist residencies offered at Le Spot and the artistic workshops offered by the Cultural Mediator.
Every two and a half months, a visual artist is invited, who has the opportunity to create on the walls, the floor and the ceiling of the exhibition room. Educational work related to the artist's graphic style is prepared beforehand and is then presented during the artistic workshops.
