While in NYC, Bob stopped off at the Waldorf Astoria for a special ceremony on June 15, 1978. The ceremony honored him with a United Nations' Peace Medal after inspiring a moment of unity that brought together the leaders of Jamaica's rival political parties earlier that Spring at the One Love Peace Concert.
Bob Marley & The Wailers headlined the historic Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on June 17, 1978.
