All City Canvas
All City Canvas
All City Canvas started in 2012, inspired by the Mexican muralist movement, as one of the most important urban festivals in the world in Mexico City. All City Canvas has evolved in its way of spreading its message and currently it is one of the most influential street culture platforms. Mural No. 5 - Artist: Interesni Kazki - Place: Mexico City - Year: 2012
The artists
Inspired by murals from other parts of the world, and in particular, Brazil, AEC (Aleksei Bordusov) and Waone (Wladimir Manzhos) formed Interesni Kazki duo, which became known for their unique style of contemporary muralism with graffiti roots. Merging science fiction, fantasy, and Ukrainian religion and culture, they created their own dreamlike universe inhabited by mysterious subjects.

Their name means “interesting fables” and that is exactly what their work portrays. They explore themes of fantasy, dreams, magic and mysticism with a strong influence of religious and scientific imagery. They use solid, bright and extremely attractive color palettes.

The mural
Through this striking artwork, the duo showed an amazing artistic ability to create allegorical and figurative artworks without using direct imagery, so people can understand it freely, in their own way and according to their own imagination.
