Distrito Tec
The Public Art Program (PAP) is an initiative of DistritoTec (a project led by the Tecnológico de Monterrey University - the largest University in Mexico) that aims to create bonds within the community through artistic experiences in public spaces across the city of Monterrey, located in the north of Mexico. This project has impacted the lives of approximately 20,000 people living in the DistritoTec area.
"Evolution" by Saner
Saner's mural is titled "Evolution", because it is a change between Camarena and Saner's generation. The institution is likewise evolving and it wishes to open a dialogue with urban spaces and their residents, as a result of the wave of violence the city has suffered.

Saner and Mexican folklore
By using traditional imagery from his own cultural heritage and by sometimes mixing it up with other countries' iconography, Mexican street artist, illustrator and graphic designer, Saner creates a distinctive vision of the world. His masked characters appear on walls, canvases, paper or objects, revealing the influence of Mexican customs and folklore.
Coupled with a weird sense of humor and a mysterious edge, Saner's heroes and demons are happy to coexist with the present. By imposing the images on different surfaces, Saner questions contemporary society and encourages the viewer to embrace a mindset of oneness, as opposed to otherness.
