A series of research based projects with academics from King's College London and Somerset House Studios artists who worked together to offer new perspectives on contemporary issues. Studios recipients of the 2017 awards are: Burton Nitta;Deborah Pearson; Evan Ifekoya; Imran Perretta; Phoebe Davies andMakerversity member Anne Frobeen, researching subjects as diverse as consent, migration and the politics of black queer sound. The culmination of these collaborations can be seen in a series of short films.
