Anthony Chen: Triple Bill

A look into three films directed by Anthony Chen, while he was a Directing Fiction student at the National Film and Television School.

Anthon Chen had already directed three short films before he attended the NFTS as a Directing Fiction student. G-23, Ah Ma and Haze were all festival winners.  Here we share three films he made while at the NFTS.

Hotel 66 (2008)

A young illegal Chinese immigrant meets a male prostitute in a downtown Soho hotel and the pair strike up an unusual bond.

Distance (2009)

A couple walk through London.  A portrait of the last few moments of a relationship  seen only through wide shots.  This was Anthony Chen's penultimate film at the NFTS.
