Moszna Palace is an architectural gem located in the small village of Moszna, in southwestern Poland; approximately 30 kilometres south of the regional capital - Opole, and 2hrs drive from Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesia.

The eclectic architecture
Moszna Palace is famous for its unique architecture that is a mix of many styles: from Baroque, Neo-Renaissance all the way to Neo-Gothic. As you can see, it's a truly picturesque sight.

Mysterious Templar stronghold
The palace dates back to the 18th century; however supposedly traces of even older cellars have been discovered in its vicinity.
Most likely, they are remnants of a presumed Templar stronghold that was located there in the past.
Moszna on the left and Disney Palace on the right. Aren't they similar? The numerous spires and the shape of windows make them really alike.

The central part of the construction is an old baroque palace that was partially destroyed in the fire in the 19th century and reconstructed right after.

Neo-gothic wing together with its adjacent orangery were finished around 1900. In 1912–1914, the western Neo-Renaissance wing was added.
Generally, the palace is described as eclectic in style.

However, the monumental height of the building, coupled with its numerous turrets give the impression of Verticalism.

From palace to a hotel
Since 2013, Moszna Palace has been operating as a hotel. You can choose one of 44 rooms that have the capacity to accommodate as many as 118 clients. Just like the architecture of the palace, the rooms are very diverse in terms of design.

The original chambers
Some have original fireplaces, historic floors, windows, and wardrobes. You can sleep in the same room where the earls and local aristocrats slept in the past, when they were visiting the palace in order to hunt.

Room with a view
However, the rooms located at the topmost floor are entirely modern in design. You can feel completely at home there or as you were in any other modern premium hotel.
Also, in terms of view, you choose a room facing the green park, terrace, the pond or the adjacent stables.
