The Mini Azerbaijan project of the Center is aimed at promoting and presenting Azerbaijani cultural, historical and architectural identity. The exhibition, which was launched on May 10th, features models of 45 historical and modern landmarks of both the capital city of Baku and the country's regions.

Model «The State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpet and Applied Art» (1993) by “Creator Models” FirmHeydar Aliyev Center
The model is an exact copy of the State Museum of Azerbaijani Carpet and Applied Arts, of which foundation was laid in May 2008. The project of the new museum building was developed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and UNESCO.

The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was created under the Decree No. 130 dated March 13, 1967 of the Council of Ministers of the Azerbaijan SSR. From 1967 to 1993, the museum was called the Azerbaijan State Museum of Carpet and Folk Applied Arts, from 1993 to 2014 - State Museum of Carpet and Applied Arts named after Latif Karimov, from 2014 to the present time the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum. At the time of establishing, it was the only museum that was dedicated to the art of carpet weaving. The main purpose of the creation of the museum was to store, research, and demonstrate unique examples of the carpet weaving art, which are the Azerbaijan’s national heritage.
Model "Bibiheybat Mosque"Heydar Aliyev Center
The model is an exact copy of mosque, the religious and historical monument, built in the XIII century by Shirvanshah II Farruhzad, the son of Akhsitan. The inscriptions on the walls of the existing building, indicate that the architect of the mosque, built in the years 1281-1282, is Mahmoud ibn Saad. The famous French writer and traveler Alexandre Dumas in October 1858 during the trip to the Caucasus visited the Bibiheybat Mosque. In 2008, after the repair work Bibiheybat complex was put into operation.

Model "Azerbaijan State Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev" by “Creator Models” FirmHeydar Aliyev Center
The model is an exact copy of the building of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev. Erected in 1910-1912 as the Summer Club of the Public Assembly, this signature landmark became one of the most remarkable pieces of Baku. The author of the project is Termikelov. He was sent to French Breeze the city of Monte Carlo to become familiar with the project of Philharmonic. From his journey to Monte Carlo Termikelov returned with rich impressions and ideas. And as a result picturesque and expressive composition was created with lots of terraces and porches.

The Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall was constructed throughout 1910–1912 at the request of the city elite and designed by the Armenian architect Gabriel Ter-Mikelov in the Italian Renaissance (exterior) and German Rococo (interior) styles. Its design was inspired by the architectural style of buildings within the Monte-Carlo Casino, particularly l'Opéra de Monte-Carlo. The society (known as the Summer Center for Public Gatherings prior to 1936) was originally organized as a club for the wealthy of Baku, who attended it for banquets and entertainment. During the Russian Civil War it served as a place for public rallies. In 1936, the club was reorganized into a residence for the Philharmonic society aimed at promoting Azerbaijani classical and folk music. On 11 August 1937 after the building underwent renovation it was named after composer Muslim Magomayev.

The model is an exact copy of the Double Gates - one of the main entrances to the Old City. Door height - 8.10 m, width of the walls of 3-3.5 meters. The city gates were built in 1138-1139, by order of governor Shirvanshah Manuchehr III (1120-1160).

The model is an exact copy of the Maiden Tower, which is one of the unique monuments in the world. Since 1964, the tower has been functioning as a museum. In 2000, the Maiden Tower was inscribed on the Representative List of the World Heritage by UNESCO.

The model is an exact copy of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which is a synthesis of ancient and modern architecture. Exterior and interior of the building, now decorating Baku, were chosen according to the wishes of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The official opening took place on 10 May 2004.

Model "Presidium Building of ANAS (former “Ismailiyye” building)" by “Creator Models” FirmHeydar Aliyev Center
The model is an exact copy of the Presidium Building of ANAS (former “Ismailiyye” building), which was erected in the city centre by Musa Naghiyev, the richest Azerbaijani oil baron, to perpetuate the memory of his prematurely deceased son Ismayil.
Erected as a public building from the very outset, the “Ismailiyye” building was home for the Muslim Charitable Association of Baku, as well as the Muslim Committee of the Caucasus. Following the Decree by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan of August 2, 2001, the building was granted the status of the National Historic and Cultural Landmark enjoying the state protection.

Model "Guba Genocide Memorial Complex" by “Creator Models” CompanyHeydar Aliyev Center
The model is an exact copy of the building of the Guba Genocide Memorial Complex. The Complex was constructed to commemorate thousands of innocent civilians of the town of Guba and adjacent areas who were brutally massacred by the Armenian militants in April-May 1918. The project was realised by the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2007. The complex is located on the spot where, during the construction of the stadium in 2007, a mass grave of victims was found belonging to the people who were killed during the 1918 genocide.
With 2 hectares of overall space, the Memorial Complex presents detailed information, documents, photos and other evidence of the genocide in Guba.

The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2 (619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

National Flag Square (Azerbaijani: Dövlət Bayrağı Meydanı) is a large city square off Neftchiler Avenue in Bayil, Baku, Azerbaijan. A flag measuring 70 by 35 metres (230 by 115 feet) flies on a pole 162 m (531 ft) high. The flagpole was confirmed as the world's tallest by the Guinness Book of Records, but was soon overtaken by the 165 m Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan. Both flagpoles were built by the same American affiliated company, Trident Support.

The model is an exact copy of the Hajinski Residence. Isa Bey Hajinski was one of the famous local aristocrats, landowners and public figures. The residence was built by the famous Italian architect and demonstrates a prosperity and progress in Baku during the oil boom.
During the Second World War in November 1944 in this house on the way from Tehran to Moscow stayed General Charles de Gaulle. Later in this building lived a family of prominent chemist, president of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Yusuf Mammadaliyev.
